We were appointed to install a high-grade fire alarm system in a block of flats located in Kensington, W14. The client required a robust, fully compliant fire safety solution that would safeguard both the communal areas and individual dwellings, meeting stringent fire safety regulations.
Solution
We installed a wired conventional Grade A fire alarm system, featuring a C-Tec 4-zone control panel. Optical smoke detectors and manual call points were fitted throughout the communal areas, while heat detection systems with sounder bases were installed in the entrance lobby of each dwelling. This system ensures that all critical zones are protected, providing early warning in the event of a fire.
Installation Process
The installation was carried out over a period of three days, with our expert team working efficiently to minimize any disruption to residents. The system was installed in full compliance with BS 5839, the British standard for fire detection and alarm systems, ensuring the highest safety standards. Upon completion, the system was fully tested and handed over to the client, ready for use.
